Every engine is proof tested on an engine run stand after assembly and horsepower figures are guaranteed. Rated horsepower figures are Gross Dyno Crank Horsepower. Crate engines are built to recipe. Each recipe is rated by dyno testing. Each recipe is tested using a Landon Series engine-only Water Dyno. Crate engines are not dyno tested.  Dyno testing for engine recipes is performed with unmuffled long tube headers, no accessories, no air cleaner, externally driven water pump, and tuned carburetor. All crate engines are offered with either a 5,000km unlimited-time warranty, or a 10,000km 2-year warranty. Additional, extended warranties are available. Crate engines are rated and warrantied only within their existing design specifications; longevity is not guaranteed with additional modificiations such as camshaft upgrades, pulley modifications, or power adders, and is not guaranteed in non-standard applications such as stationary or motorsport, or use cases that may add substantial stress or require upgrades of existing engine build components.
