All crate engines are sold as advertised and come with complete paperwork, build details, break-in details, warranty, and warranty information.

Engines may require other parts before a complete install can be performed such as but not limited to: ignition components such as distributors, and plug wires, water pumps and hoses, thermostats and thermostat housings, accessories such as power steering and alternators, fuel and air devices such as carburetors or throttle bodies and injection setups, flex plates or flywheel, clutch or torque convertor, etc.

Every engine is proof tested on an engine run stand after assembly and horsepower figures are guaranteed. Rated horsepower figures are Gross Dynamometer Crank Horsepower. Crate engines are built to recipe. Each recipe is rated by dynamometer testing. Each recipe is tested using a Landon Series engine-only Water Dynamometer with a stated accuracy of 8%. Crate engines are not individually dyno tested.  Dynamometer testing for engine recipes is performed with unmuffled long tube headers, no accessories, no air cleaner, externally driven water pump, and fully tuned carburetor and ignition system.

All crate engines are offered with either a 5,000km unlimited-time warranty, or a 10,000km timed warranty. Additional, extended warranties are available. Crate engines are rated and warrantied only within their existing design specifications; warranty may be withdrawn with additional modifications such as but not limited to camshaft upgrades, pulley and accessory modifications, power adders, and as well as in non-standard applications such as stationary or motorsport, or use cases that may add substantial stress or require upgrades of existing engine build components.
